error while saving the sales order

Hi,

i get the error message material 2110 doesnot exist in stor loc sspt,slss if i put all shipping details and if i remove them then it says shpg cond 02,loading gp 0001 plant sspt stor loc not defined

help plzz

Hi,

Regarding the error message that the material is not defined in the storage location 'XYZ'. First check in MM02 which storage location you had selected while creating the material.

Whenever we create a material in MM01, we specify-the plant in which it is going to be manufactured, the storage location in which the material is to be stored, the sales organisation through which sales is controlled and the distribution channel through which the material will be sold. These are very important and control all the working in the sales order and subsequent delivery.

Check for the above details.

Regarding the shipping point - a shipping point is always determined by the following using transaction code OVL2:

SC LGrp Plnt PrShP

SC - shipping conditions determined from the customer master (Sales Area Data-shipping tab)

LGrp - Loading group which is determined from the material master (SALES: General/Plant screen)

Plnt - determined fom the customer material information record OR customer matser OR material master. If not there in any of the threee, you can enter it manuaaly in the sales order. Accordingly the shipping point will be determined.

I saved the order but still the amount, net price, net value is zero and i can see my condition type there.

plant and shpg point came automatically but i had to enter route manually and i dont see the storage loc and i cannot even enter it manually.

so i need some help in pricing and shpg where i messed up something

Hi Samir,

You need to assign routes to the combination of Dep Zone of Shipping point (Shipping point) + Rec Zone of Ship-to PArty + Transportation group (MMR on Sales gen/plant) + Shipping conditions (Fron CMR or Sales Doc type). Go to SPRO>SD>Basic Fns>Routes>Route Determination, there you assign preffered route.

Secondly regarding pricing, just check if Pricing date is coming? Also check that you have maintained condition records duly for required combination of fields. You need to determine storage location with combination of plant and shipping point, then it'll pick st loc automatically. For this go to SPRO>LE> Shipping>Deliveries > Assign picking location. Also in ent structure, maintain St Loc for that plant in Materails Mgmt (Ent Structure part)

well no error message as i am able to save the order but the shpg data is missing which i am working on but i have done the prcg procedure stuff so y its not picking up the the figure in the amount field in the sales order
