Streamlined process for Column Level Security?

Good day,

I have seen the posting from 2014 for a "work around" for implementing column level security in a HANA model, but have not seen anything showing there is a better/faster solution since then i .e something similar to row level security and analytic privileges. I am trying to restrict certain users from seeing portions of columns, i.e. USER 1 can see "Bank Account" '123xxx,' while USER 2 can see "Bank Account" '123456.' Is there a better solution aside from the "work around." Thanks in advance!
