Change Request Management - No consolidation system found for SM1-200...

Hello,

Setting up ChaRM for the first time. Getting a number of problems:

1. When trying to create a tasklist (tab Change Requests under System Landscape in Project Admin) I get the message "The project is not released. Hence cycle cannot be created".

2. When checking for consistency I get:

a) Error in background job for program RSGET_SMSY. Note: we are not using the SLD.

b) No consolidation system found for SM1-200 (project...)

c) No track for project .... with log.system SM1/200. Note the "/"... very strange.

d) Message from function module /TMWFLOW/CHECK_PRJ_CONS: No export syst.

3. When hitting refresh (under tab Change Requests within System Landscape in Project Admin) I get message: "Warning: Problems occurred during synchronization of the system landscape"

Somehow this seems all related to STMS (and perhaps also the logical component in SMSY) which we have set up according to how we believe it should be setup (with the clients specified). The RFCs seem fine and also the authorizations. Have triple-checked the other config.

I have seen a couple of other threads on this issue but no solution.

Please help!!

Regards

Dave.

Hey david,

These problems( 1, 2a,2b,2c,2d) are caused by incorrect TMS settings.

whatever landscape you have mentioned in the Maintenance project, u need to follow that in your TMS settings.

Eg you had specfied EDEV:900 as development, ETEST as Test and Eprd as Production system, then your TMS should have transport LAYER Following the obove.

Another requirement being your transport routes must be client specfic.

yourr problem of the Background prog is most likely due to 'Not scheduling of Background programs.

Please go to SPRO and get it there, since i dont have access to solman system, i cant provide you with exact path.

Reward if my post was usefull.

Revert for any clarifications.

Regards,

Suzanne.
