Hello All ,

We have implemented note oss note 38501,( It is a userexit SAP is recommending to avoid F2 invoice generation before IC invoice generation ) . While testing the changes we found that exit is not triggering from tcodes: VF01,VF04 and still system is creating F2 invoice first . Please help if you have any suggestions .

Regards,

Greeshma

If you are sure that even after making the code changes as recommended in the OSS note referred and it is applicable to your release and also, you have taken care of the other three OSS notes mentioned, if the expected process is not working, you should raise an OSS message

The user exit EXIT_SAPLV05I_003 mentioned in the note is a customer function. If I'm correct, simply implementing customer functions is not enough - you need to assign this enhancement to a project via CMOD. Have you done that already? Is this project also active?

This customer function is called in program LV05IFLK. Did you check by debugging this program from start as well?

Did you activate your ABAP code? And how exactly did you confirm it's "not triggered"? Is the note applicable to your release?

Troubleshooting this seems like a trivial task for a qualified ABAPer. If they can't solve this (which would be odd TBH) then open an incident with SAP. I'm not sure how a global community could possibly assist you with this and you have not provided any details.

Hi Jelena,

The code is active and I have activated SQL trace and checked whether this enhancement triggered or not, it wasnt .

Yes the note is applicable to the release .

Why would you use SQL trace for this? Can't you just use a debugger in VF01?
