It is not accepting balance letters NR for INR

1. Go to the characteristic.

2. check what is the format of the DATA type

3. It should be in the INR.

4. then Go tot he tbale name ( tab-addnl tab)

5. check if you have given the correct table name and the field name

( for the PO it is cekk0/gnetw)

6. so this will solve your issues.

Guys

I am picking the field data from GFWRT of CEBAN structure whose default field type is Curr.

I have done every thing as u all have mentioned.

1.In basic data, data type is CURR and currency INR, No. of chars 15 and decimals 2, value assignment is multiple, Intervals allowed.

2.IN addl data tab Structure is CEBAN and field is GFWRT.

3. Restrictions tab has 032 assigned

The problem is for small intervals it is ok and workign fine as the values i enter is under the maximum allowable length. But for large intervals this simply does not work as it does not save the value without INR as field length falls short. This particular value does not getcarried over to Classification view assignment screen.

I have tried to change the data type but unsuccessful as once i assign field GFWRT my data type automatically changes to INR.

Any solution?

Thanks

Hi

maximum allowable length of the field is 15.

Is it possible to increase the length of the field at table level. I suspect this may not be possible or good idea of fiddling with the SAP resource table, not sure any way.

I have solved my problem by another way , by releasing the PR at document level by enabling the chk boxes overall release of PR in img, inside document type.

I have maintained no intervals as the document takes the corresponding values one by one automatically.

Greatly appreciate all the valuable comments Guys .

Dear Samuel,

Check in Charateristic basic data, are you maintain the data type as "CURR".

select Value assignment--> Multiples value, Tick interval vals allowed.

Maintain Number of chars , decimal places and currency as well.
