you mean to say you want remove fields from report.

If it is like that you need change query.

Plz let me know your requirement.

Plz assign points if it is useful.

Thanks,

Hi,

If you want to remove some of the fields in selection screen You need to change the definition of the query ( by removing variable for the char concerned )

and if you want to remove some of the fields in report it self there again you need to change the definition of the query ( this time only move the fields to the filter area ).

in either case you need to change the definition of the query

Thanks,

Ravi

Hi

For that go to the query in a change mode. Remove the variables to the characteristics which u dont wana see.

if u have seen it properly u can see only those fields are present in the selection screen (in ur terms When u excute the query before results one pop up box comes) on which variables are defined mite b mandatory, optional and so on

remove the variables from the characteristics jst drag and drop it on the global area of the report ie left side and save and then execute

hope it helps asign points if applicable

thanks

Go into query designer ( rrmx). look for the fields for which u do not want to input the date. In query designer below these field there will one variable ( yellow mark ). drag this variable to the left side of the designer part or select this variable and simply hit delete button.

Hope this helps.

Before trying all these things pleae copy the query with some name and try this on copy query.

Mahendra
