Approver has no authorisation but PR got approved

Hi,

In my businsess a pr was released at x, y levels but the approver has authority to approve at y level only , checked in SU01D, and threads but didnt get find solution, please suggest.

it is not possible to release the PO without authorisaiton.

check the release matrix as well , if the level release codes and release indicators are configured correctly.

How you checked in SU01D and validate?

Talk to S&A team and Business team to find "Release Matrix" to verify users and release codes with each release value of approval.

Also find what customisation and development carried out for following

User-1 ------------release code X

User-2----------------release code Y

How these are defined and where is control for each/all release code/s on sequential release along with release values are assigned/designed.

Believe me, he either has authority, otherwise he would not have been able to do it. Or your release strategy is wrong setup and already completely released if just the x level is released.
