the bandwidth required for the connection between SAP APP on-premise and HANA on cloud

Dears,

I want to know the bandwidth required to connect my application server (on-premise) and HANA DB (on cloud), I have bandwidth 30 MB/s but shared between multi services so please advice how to calculate the required bandwidth and what is the recommended bandwidth for my landscape structure.

Hello Karem,

Your bandwidth requirement depends a lot on your usage scenario, i.e. Suite on HANA loads much more data into the application server than S/4HANA with its push-down concept, but SAP recommend at least 10Gbit/s for the so called client zone (for administration, SAP application servers, and other SAP HANA clients):
