    Hi sai kumar

So in the screen shot it is very clear that your CV(Calculation Views) is Activated successfully with some runtime error, because the Status of your CV is green, that means your CV is activated. May be if you try to do data preview for your CV you will get error it seems. If you want know what is the exact error in your CV so for that you should check with error messages.

For E.g. Please find the below screen shot just for your reference.

Here also my CV is Activated Successfully with some runtime exception error. So if you click on that error you will get error message in the bottom of your screen as shown in the below screen shot. So in that message we will get to know in what step the error has occurred in our CV.

Here in my Scenario I have made few changes to my CV but in the error it is showing the dependent CV has failed due to changes happened to the My CV,There will be some scenarios will use source as CV to develop another CV, so will distinguish this as base CV is nothing but which we can use as source for another CV and the another one is Main CV which is use for reporting purpose.

May be your CV has failed due to below reasons I guess

So basically, model inconsistency error will occur due to following reasons

    1. If there is no measure in calculation View: In Calculation views, there must be at least one measure should be defined, for e.g.: count field, If at all count field is not there in your CV you can create counter field.

2.Join condition :if there are any miss mapping happened in the Joins, may be if you may have mapped some other filed instead of mapping the same filed. sometimes even both field are same also we should check for the length and Type of that Field. If length and Types are different in both field, we cannot map.

3.Calculated columns error: if there are any syntax error or formats (e.g. date) are different, then that will cause the runtime error at that time of creating calculated column if you validate the syntax it will show correct. but when it comes to semantics level it will be comparing with our data records format so that time will get this runtime error.

    4. Restriction or filters: If you have restricted or applied any filters with value which is not there in your data, there might be chances for runtime error.
