Theme Transport fron DEV to QA

Folks,

I have transported themes portal desktop and the master rule from DEV system to QA system , but still the I am getting the default Portal desktop. Do I need to transport any other object . Please advise

Are you using your own custom framework page inside your desktop? Then you need to transport that too. Also in QA please open the master rule & desktop object to check whether they are correectly (same as DEV) set up or not. Please delete the cache of your browser once to test.

I am using the custom desktop and I am transported also . I have also transported the master rule also . I will try to delete the browser cache too .. thanks for your reply

what objects is your IF clause based on in DEV: user/role/group/bandwidth/URL alias/browser version?

make sure that you have the same objects in QA as in DEV.

example: if the rule is based on user, make sure you are using the same user when you login to the Portal QA.

if you are using the role, make sure that the role exists in QA.

etc
