Hello,
We are implementing Access Enforcer 5.1 and we do not manage to send the password to a user for a creation request.
In SAP training, I was told it is not possible to send the password to a new user and I haven't found anything about this topic in the SAP documentation.
It seems amazing to me that this functionality does not exist in AE.
Has anyone manage to go through this?
How do you manage new users password? By password self service tool? By manual reinitialization of the password?
Thanks a lot for your help,
Best regards,
Nicolas.
Hi,
Do the mail notification settings, when you create the user or reset password of the user, system will send Password to user.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
I finally could test your advice: it is effectively necessary to put an email adress in the "Support".
Now, an automatic email is sent to the user with its login & password.
Apparently, I can not configure this mail.
Thanks guy,

Nicolas.

I could not try your suggestions for the moment, but I will as soon as I can.

You need to ensure that when creating a new request that the user for which the request is created does not exist in the SAP environment. Passwords are only sent out if the user does not exist. If the user exists AE sees this as a change and will not send out a new password.
Make sure there is a Security lead assigned as well as the sender of the new passowrd email will reference this user.

Hello,
A generated password can be sent by email, but you have to have an email address configured in the "Support" tab. You are correct, that is not documented any where that I know of.
