Hello,

Is it possible to use scheduling agreement for one time order?

As SAP has "Purchase order", i can use it for the "one time order", but i am still wonder whether there won't be any problem when i order with scheduling agreement.

The material i will order can be anything.

why would one do voluntarily double to triple effort to achieve the same result?

Thanks for your interest in my writing.

Because afterwards processes are sucessfully implemented and used currently with the scheduling agreement.

I just want to know whether there won't be any problem when i order goods with scheduling agreement for the "one time order".

The material i will order can be anything.

The problem that I foresee is a mental problem. People will have a hard time to understand and you can even lose your creditability as consultant if you suggest to use scheduling agreements instead of purchase orders for one-time buys.

This is like telling somebody who has a 200 meter walk from home to his office to use a car to get there and park in the garage 150 meter away and to walk from there to the office.

Thanks for your honest opinion.

I understand what you mean and i of course do not prefer that way.

But the problem is... users want the mentioned "afterwards processes". Even though i explained pretty much of current our situations that might be already enough to make them understand but they insist what they want.

you mentioned just the words but did not share what it is in particular, so nobody is actually able to consider those

unknown "afterwards processes"

yes, but it doesn't have to be defined as my main question is "Is it possible to use scheduling agreement for one time order?"

isn't this part already answered with all the comments? Why should I say that it is triple work if it would not be possible?
