Personnel subarea grouping for Professional tax

Hello Team,

My requirement is as follows:

For one particular PA PSA pair Maharashtra ptax grouping was assigned and ptax was getting deducted according to Maharashtra state for last 1 year.

but correct ptax grouping for that PA PSA pair is Karnataka

Now we want to correct this from 01.08.2017, so we need to create new ptax grouping with region assigned as Maharashtra till 31.07.2017 and Karnataka from 01.08.2017 but the ptax grouping has been exhausted (as we have more than 10 thousand PA PSA pairs and such scenario we handled in past) from 01 to 99 all ptax groupings has been used. system is not allowing alpha numeric ptax groupings, please suggest what can be done in such case. we need to do this for many PA PSA pairs.

Hi Javed,

In standard system on 00 to 99 groupings are available. As you have said, alphanumeric groupings are NOT possible. In case you have exhausted all the groupings, you should raise an incident since the Development Team may be able to increase the number of groupings available.
