Material Ledger

HI all

For the Multilevel BOM costing, we need to maintain and activate the

Material Ledger.

Once if we done this, then only we can get the costs accordingly, as

per the specified BOM is concerned.

Now can i have some details on the maintenance of the Material Ledger

for the Actual costing.

please let me know

Material ledger's maintenance takes priority at the period end. Usually clients using material ledger maintain their material prices at standard. Material ledger does the task of capturing the price differences and production differences and distributes to <b>consumption</b> and <b>ending inventory</b> appropriately.

Every period end steps are carried out through single cockpit tranasction CKMLCP.
