Has anyone used this FM UJO_FIM_GET_CELL_VALUE_EX before

hello BPC experts

I am thinking to use this FM UJO_FIM_GET_CELL_VALUE_EX to extract data but i need some advises here:

1. Have you tried to test the FM directly on the ABAP gui? It seemed the FM does not permit testing via SE37 since it will abort due to ABAP assertion statement. Is it supposed to be in this manner?

2. What is the format of the query string? is the following query string correct?

ACCOUNT!CATEGORY!ENTITY!PRODLINE!RPTCURRENCY!TIME!MEASURES;PL600]Actual]US]APL]LC]2010.TOTAL]PERIODIC]|

3. beside this FM, is there any other which also allows such data extraction?

What do you want to achieve in general? Why do you need to use FM?
