Hi,
This is Ram from Atlanta. actually i am Using Netweaver 7.0. i have installed it before 6 months. now when i am starting my SAP Netweaver server i am able to start the server successfully. after 15-20 min Status of the server became "License Key check failed".(i am not able to access the server after this)
can any one help me out in this... because in the beginning i am able to start the server.. i am working with it... after some time i am getting this error.
Do i need to install the Software once again? or can i correct it with out doing it
Thanks in Advance
Hi,
This is because the license has expired.
You have to apply license for that instance.
Each time you stop and start the instance the instance will be up for 30 mins eventhough the license has expired .
You have to request for license, apply that license through Visual admin.
This will solve your problem..
revert back if you have any queries regarding this.

Hi,
Follow these steps..
To generate the license key you need to follow this procedure.
Find out the hardware key of your instance.
For this go to the visual admin----
> licensing adapter
Visual admin has to be accessed from this path \usr\sap\X74\JC01\j2ee\admin and run go.bat
You should also have a S-user ID to generate the license.
Go to service.sap.com/licensekey
Give the required credentials.
Then supply the required details like SID, hostname, Database etc..
You will get a license file after some time.
Then again go to Visual admin----
> licensing adapter
upload the license file, and the licensse will be applied.
revert back if you have any queries.
Do reward points if useful.
