ALRTCATDEF in Netweaver 2004s

Hi

I have given access to Tcode ALRTCATDEF in SAP Netweaver 2004s to a particular user. I mained the authorizations and everything seems to be fine from PFCG point of view.

When the user actually tries to access ALRTCATDEF Tcode, he is not able to access. Gets an error "Internal Error in Configuration"

I added the following roles...Still does not work.

SAP_ALM_ADMINISTRATOR --> Alert Management Administrator

SAP_ALM_CUSTOMIZER --> Alert Management: Role for Customizing

SAP_BC_ALM_ADMIN -->

SAP_BC_ALM_ALERT_USER --> ALM: Role for the alert user

SAP_BC_ALM_CUST

Any idea why this is happening? This is on Netweaver 2004s

Hi Jack,

can you add SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR role and check <b>status</b> of those roles in SU01,if there are not in green colour.just double click on role,it takes you to PFCG tcode there select <b>user</b> tab and click on <b>user comparison</b>

Still does not work. Added SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR

Getting same error" Error in Internal Configuration". Did user compare too
