Newbie to WD Development in cluster environment setup

Hi buddies,

Previously I have successfully deployed WebDynpro applications on servers having the JAVA stack, DB and ABAP stack all installed on a single server. I am facing problems in cluster environment setup. Here, I have setup NWDS 2.0.13 successfully. I have configured my SAP J2EE Engine correctly with proper message server port(3611). I can see my servers under the J2EE Engine tab under the Deployment Output View. I have the correct SDM password. I have added all my cluster servers to the host file (i.e. DB, Central Services host, Central Intance Host). Now when I deploy my WebDynpro application using NWDS, it fails. It gives the following error:

Aug 8, 2007 3:28:29 PM /userOut/deploy (com.sap.ide.eclipse.sdm.threading.DeployThreadManager) [Thread[Deploy Thread,5,main]] ERROR:

[001]Deployment aborted

Settings

SDM host : XXXX

SDM port : 50018

URL to deploy : file:/C:/DOCUME1/XXXX/LOCALS1/Temp/temp54670RH_WD_Demo.ear

Deployment exception : Server XXXX did not accept login request as admin on port 50018. Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server XXXX at port 50018: Connection refused: connect

Inner exception was :

Server XXXX did not accept login request as admin on port 50018. Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server XXXX at port 50018: Connection refused: connect

Any ideas what could have gone wrong? or what more needs to be configured.

Warm regards,

Sukanta Rudra

    • Hi,

Finally I have been able to deploy my WD applications into cluster development setup... I still do not know exactly what was going wrong. This morning I used the same SDM password and NT credentials for login into portal URL... and I was able to see my WD application working.

      Cheers!!!
