RFC Connection Test fails.

Hello Guys,

I am trying to run the Optimizer in SNP, and somehow it always fails and displays an error saying, Test connection Failed.

The diagnosis is " Before starting an Optimization server the system tried to check the RFC link and this test failed".

Can someone please tell me how to solve this problem or give me some guidelines.

Can you check in SM59, the RFC is configured correctly ? There is a ping test in SM59. see it is working? If not the server name might be wrong.
