BIW R/3 Connectivity

Hi

I would like to make R/3 as a source system in RSA1.

Is it required / mandatory to have a TRUSTED rfc between R/3 and

B/W (Version 7) to enable this?

best regards

Ravi

You have the option of creating the RFC at BI and make it unidirectional if you dont have the need to send data back to R/3.

Hi ravi,

yes, you have to create rfc in both side, and have backgorund user (aleremote) in both side.

Hope this helps

Hi

I did not notice the ALEREMOTE user in BIW 7.0. I remember seeing it in 3.5. I instead saw BIWREMOTE (with Version 7.0) I understand that a RFC is required both ways however is it required that the rfc be TRUSTED?

best regards

Ravi
