EHS Phrase sets for dummies needed

I have set up Dangerous goods checks and everything is working except for phrase sets used in the Dangerous goods master record.

When I create or change a DG master record using DGP1 or DGP2 I can enter all the information I need except the Dangerous Goods Description RDGMDIOT-PDGNUD. I have searched and it appear this field is FILLED with phrase sets.

It would appear that the phrase set would be based on the type and ID number fields RDGMDIOT-TKUI and DGNU

Could someone please explain how you set/assign/create a phrase set for this.

I am having the same problem. I have the Phrase Keys (CUST-100000000000001, through 04) but I can't link the phrase keys to the phrase. I have no idea where the link could be. SAP isn't any help; they just tell us to run the conversion again.

Did you get your problem solved? If so can you post the solution you came up with?

Sorry for the late reply. I have turned this problem over to another teammate and rolled off the project.

I will try to contact the person and see if they got it working.

Not a problem. I managed to figure it out the other day. I found two tables that linked if you take CUST- off the ID (you are then left with a 15 digit number).

Hi Rudolph,

1.Logistics>EHS>DGmgt>Phrase>display phrase set attributes.

Now you select Under root Dg user defined texts.

Copy the phrase set SAP_EHS_10022_042_TEXT.

2.Logistics->EHS>DGmgt>Phrases-> Edit Phrases

Now you create phrase and select the phrase set tab and past the phrase set

SAP_EHS_10022_042_TEXT.

Dear Rudolph,

1) You can create the phrase set in T-code :CG1B (e.g : SAP_EHS_1101_001_LOCATION this is the phrase set for physical enviroment)

2) You create the phrase in T-code : CG12 and here you assisng the required phrase set to phrase. ( e.g : Corrosive Chemicals is the phrase .Then while creating phrase You assigne the phrase set this phrase )

Well I tried both the T-Codes you provided and those transactions do not exist in our ECC 5.0 Client. There are other menu options dealing with Phrase Sets that are talked about in the SAP help files that I have noticed missing as well.

Is there a add on to the EHS area that we might be missing? It is my understanding that we are running just the normal ver of ECC 5.0.
