alter table on MDC using UI5

Hi,

i have a Master-Detail Application running with data from Tables on a MDC, connected through OData Services.

Trying-To-Accomplish: Store a value into the Table using the Fiori App.

QUESTION: Is it possible to store data from a Fiori App using SAPUI5 ?

(Please, just tell me if its possible, or if i have to use a seperate Java Application for this)

Fiori App is built using SAPUI5. You can save anything anywhere, as long as the oData service, which can push the data into that table, is available.
