Dear all,

Can someone tell me where can I find the migration export medium for the process of dual-stack split.

I´m doing it because I need to upgrade my system to EHP8 and for that i need to split it because the dual-stack it´s not supported by SUM.

Hello Mr. Nelson Chamba,

During Dual stack split, you are splitting your Java stack from your ABAP stack. This requires mainly two steps - 1. Take export of your Java primary application server and 2. Install new Java stack SCS instance, primary application server. So to perform step 2 the pre requisite is to perform step 1. Now in step 1, you must have taken an export of your existing integrated Java stack and stored it somewhere in your disk. Please see the attached screen shot for your reference.

Now in step 2, when you install SCS instance or PAS or adapt database for Java target system, you need to provide the export location path in disk where you stored your export taken in step 1.

Hi Nelson,

during the dual stack split: Did you choose to export the JAVA part? In this case the export dump is requested here. So please enter the directory which has been chosen for exporting the JAVA stack.
