installation problem in IDes ecc6.0 windows oracle.

given path for archive folders is wrong.check it again and run the installation.

Login to Oracle Sqlplus

SQL>Alter system set log_archive_dest = '<path of destination>' scope=spfile;

but one more problem i faced in this that i am not able to login to sap * plus with sa users name and password which i set at the time of installing oracle software..

ORA-12560: TNS : Protocol adapter error.

how can i solve this

which kind of drives are you using? are all of them local drives?

are you using any mapped drives from network?

THe installation drives are local, and some of the dvds are dump on network drive i could mapped it and used it for the installation.

could you please check in logs which device was specified for LOG ARCHIVE DEST?

or put the log here.
