Hi Guys,
I have not set a calendar at the project definition in level in the cprojects structure. I have set dates and durations for tasks and stages. Since I have not specified a calendar the calculated dates and durations consider all days including weekends. If I now specify a calendar which is defined to have 5 day work week, the calculated date and durations are not updated. Any ideas? I would like to avoid manually making changes to each and every task so that new calendard takes effect.
Thanks...
Lashan
Hi Lashan,
The note 802377 solve this problem, but it can be only applied using hotpackage.
Kind regards,

Hi Zhenbo,
Thanks for the reply. We are on patch level 9, so the fixes for this is already in. I tested the issue mentioned in the OSS note and it is working fine in our system. I can change the calendar at task or phase level and the durations/dates are calculated correctly.
The issue I am facing is that the calendar is defined in the project definition. For phases and tasks I have specified "use from project". When I change in the project definition level, this change is not reflected in the phases or tasks below.
Am I missing something?
Cheers,
Lashan
Hi Lashan,
Once you release the project automatic scheduling will not happen in cProjects. After assigning the calander you have to press the schedule button. Then system will rescedule all the tasks. And one more thing is you have to give duration and days. If you maintain dates it will consider the dates only it will not reschedule automatically.
Thanks
