Hello,
I need to create two planning profiles (cost profile and KPI profile) for CRM Marketing. After choosing the Planning Profile Group in the basic tab, a "key figure planning" tab should show up, under which the user can choose one of the two profiles. Each profile should contain several (customized) fields for planning.
But how can I create a customized planning profile? And how can I create the text fields for the planning profiles? I am confused about the linkage of BW- and CRM-system. So which tasks do I need to perform in the CRM-system and which tasks in the BW-system? Can someone please provide me an overview / guideline about where and how to perform these tasks?
Thanks in advance,
Thorsten
Hello Thorsten,
The planning profiles are created in SEM. Once the link between CRM and SEM is activated and a planning profile that exists in SEM is specified, the Key Figure Planning tab will be visible.

Hi Thorsten,
Planning profile groups can be created in CRM but the planning groups and planning layouts have to be created in BW system.
With CRM 5.0, CRM talks effectively to BW BPS (business planning simulation/solution) module.
The things are to be in place are
1. RFC connection established between CRM and BW
2. Create Planning profile groups in CRM
3. Planning groups, layouts can also be created from CRM, but the moment you use this IMG path, it takes you to the BW system and created there.
Now there is a new feature of using HTML version for plannign groups and you have check mark them for using the latest or it would give you the old AVL / excel sheet version of layout.
Once you have the RFC connection between CRM & BW, and created the planning profile group, the moment you select this plannig profile group in the marketing planning or campaign planning under the planning profile group field and save the plan, it would generate the Keyfigure tab for you.
