Use result row in exception reporting

Dear All,

Need your expert advice here.

We have a reporting requirement to show account balances in a cross tab report (for 30 calendar days) as below:

Calendar Day

Account 01.01.2007 02.01.07 03.01.07 04.01.07 .....Avg Bal(Last 30 days)

AC1

AC2

AC3

.

.

User also wants to see the average balances of each account and create exception if any days Balance is less than "x %" of Average balance.

We have been able to create the cross tab report But we are not sure how to meet above requirement.

If i define a calculated Key figure as %CT of Book Balance, the output is shown as "X" and it gets displayed on all calendar days which is not required.

alternately if i set "Average of all Values" on on Balance key figure and do not suppress results for Calendar day(which i have put in columns), i can see the average balance, but i don't know how to use this in exception definition.

Please help!!

Regards

Rakesh

Rakesh,

I am assuming that you do not have calendar days in a structure hence the problem of when you put in a second key figure it appears for each day.

I think you are going to have to create a structure for your dates. So that's 30 key figures and then a total one which will give you your Average Bal. You can create an additional formula to calculate the % Bal.

You can then setup your Exception based on your %CT Bal key figure,
