dear experts,
for a material i had changed my Production storage location from "NSSP" to "NBBN" in the MRP2 view.
but, while doing goods movements with Movement type "261" in the screen the S_Loc in not showing "NBBN" as default. it is showing the pervous S_Loc as "NSSP".
could u suggest the reasons & proposed changes?
Rishi
Hi,
After changing the Production Storage Location create a order and do GI. Also check if Sloc NBBN is maintained in BOM and Production Version( if exist). If you are doing GI for a Order which is created before changing Production Storage Location to NBBN then by default Sloc NSSP will appear bec already Master Data is copied in Order. For this either do Read PP Master Data or Manually change Sloc in Components Overview.

Hi rishi,
if the order was created prior to changing of production storage loc then the earlier data would have got copied. In order to change, you can either change the storage loc in order components overview in the order or you can read PP master data again from the Menu - functions. Read PP master can only happen if no goods movement or confirmations has been done.

Dear Mr.Rishi,
Also please check with T code MMSC ,include the storage locations for that
material in which its stored.
During some transfer posting between storage locations ,u will be facing some
error.
