Report with months in a column

Hi Experts,

In a selection screen i am passing plant & a date range(eg- 15.04.2007 to 10.07.2007), I have to create an ALV report which will display all the months passed in the date field in month column (like- apr2007, may2007,june2007 & july2007), then no of items Phy. inventory not completed, then no of items with phy inv done then diff. in total stock and counet stock.

In my internal tables i have materials, PI docu No., posted date, total stock, counted stock with Phy. inv. done and not done both not done.

The main prob is how to show values in report, month wise.Please guide me & if anyone have related code it will be helpful.

Hello Nikhil

Add a "month" column to your itab which contains the period in format MM.YYYY (e.g. data element SPMON). Calculate for each date the corresponding period and fill the value in the additional column. Then you are done.

If the user wants to see aggregated data per month he simply selects the "month" column and choose function "Sub-Totals" from the ALV toolbar.
