557 and 558 movement type

Do you have some documentation around adjusting the stock in transit bucket by using 557 or 558 movement type?

I had a STO in transit with 25 Cases. I did an adjustment with 557 movement type using MB11 for 5 Case.

The in transit still shows 25 Case. I was hoping to see the intransit to reduce from 25 to 20

I do not believe this is supposed to reduce the stock in transit. It appears that this can only be used when the the stock is purchse order independent. Since you mention a stock transport order it will not reduce the stock in transit.
