Hello Experts,
I am working on the design for the below scenario, need some inputs from you all.
Tab delimited file will be picked by SAP PO7.5 and will be mapped to an IDoc in mapping while the IDoc will be converted to idoc flat file structure and will be posted to ECC.
ESR-Message type for Tab Delimited file, IDoc from ECC will be mapped
ID-Sender File Adapter with FCC,receiver file adapter with
SAP_XI_IDOC/IDOCXmlToFlatConvertor module before callsapadapter module.
RFC connection is established between PO and ECC so that the IDoc metadata can be downloaded.
Is this design correct or needs some correction?
Thanks in advance,
Vikas
You absolutely do not want to create a flat IDoc if you are going to post it to ECC. In fact, you never want to create a flat file if you have other reasonable options. Use the IDoc adapter instead to post your IDoc straight to ECC without persisting it as a file first.

Patrick
