Output determination mass processing

Hello,

There was a cut over miss for a PO condition record maintenance. Now the external system had created a large volume of purchase orders in SAP without PO outputs. I am looking for an option to insert outputs through any of the mass processing options to all those processed purchase orders.

Please note that I will not be able to use MASS transaction to update PO with a dummy field to trigger the outputs.

Is there any other workaround possible other than LSMW and BDC ?

Regards,

Dilli

  • Your subject and the contents are contradicting !!!!

Your subject says output whereas, your post says condition record. Please be clear when you post in SCN for better clarity

I guess we have some hundred discussions that lists the various/limited options beside of LSMW and BDC for mass processing, there might be a few more with S4/Hana, but I actually believe your real question is not yet asked, isn't it?

    Otherwise try below

If message condition record maintained for your PO type( document type)- You can change those PO's with BAPI{( set dot(.) in Texts TAB in PO header with any unused text ID} , so that automatically PO output will triggers.

Create a custom transaction where this will changes all PO's but you need input all PO values.

    • Bijay,

Thanks for your input, I tried that option, unfortunately, the system determines outputs with a change indicator. But my requirement is to transmit full data set and not delta changes ( New output and not changed ones ).

    Hi,

Thanks for your responses. I have used a program with FM RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE_SINGLE to insert entries directly to NAST table.
