Hi Everyone,

I have a doubt regarding change pointers. When i am deleting some fields in material data and the change pointer is triggered how to identify the particular field data has been deleted in the triggered idoc. Whether there will be any flag to indicate the field data has been deleted. if not and field will only have a blank value, then how we can identify it as a changed field?

Thanks in advance.

Mohanarangan.

The change pointer is used to know that something was changed and that the master data is to be distributed again so that all systems are at the same level.

You do not just distribute 1 changed field, you distribute the entire master data record.
