What Will be performance impact of a SMD agent in Managed system/Satellite system.

Hi,

I am planning to install SMD Agent ( Solman 7.1) in managed system(ECC 6.0) for system moniutoring . I am looking for some statistics which will speak about performance of SMD agent on Managed System.

Will it effect any resource usage.?

The main thing behind this question is will it effect anything performance if we installed SMD agent on Managed System?

Hi

The Diagnostics Agent is designed to have a very small footprint on the Managed System e.g. the Heap Space is 256MB. If your Managed System is already undersized, you should probably size it correctly first.
