Adding new fields in VT01n header & adding new fields for delivery seleciton

I have a requirement to add 5 to 6 new fields in any one of the shipment header tab or in a new tab. Also, I have to add new fields for delivery selection pop-up.

I have searched the forum, but could not find the proper solution. Please let me know if any one of you have worked on similar requirement earlier.

Hi Jurgen,

There are hits on the topic, but I could not find the exact solution to add new fields in any of the shipment header tabs and also to add new fields in the delivery pop-up selection.

In few replies, solutions are provided to make fields non-editable and in one of the reply it was mentioned to create new status and call screen. But, I can't use these solutions as the need is to add fields in existing or in new tab.

how do you define "the exact solution"?

Is it the code that could be implemented like an OSS note, without any own effort?

For some developers it would be enough to know the exit or badi, to get a rough idea how to start, while others would even request to get the Z-field names told.

You reference (without reference) "solutions are provided to make fields non-editable" , honestly I can't imagine how this detail fits to the vague question, this must be anyway beyond the decision what method to use to add new fields

I am looking for suggestions and ideas if any one has come across this requirement and implemented earlier. Also, I could not find proper BADI or EXIT too. So, posted it in the forum to get the reply.
