Performing local client copy(SCCL) with out deleting

Hi

I have a requirement to copy the customization of my PRD 500 to DEV 100(customization) master client. I have created a sample client in DEV 330 by importing the SAP_CUST profile from PRD and importing the SAP_USER profile from Dev 100.

Now 330 is ready with PRD customization and user master record of DEV. I want to overwrite my master client DEV 100 with 330.

I am planning to perform a local client copy SCCL with SAP_ALL profile for this activity.

My queries are,

1. Without deleting DEV 100, is it OK to perform a local client copy SCCL from 330 to 100? Does the exact 330 client will be replicated in 100?

2. Do we have to perform any post processing activity after SCCL?

3. Anything needs to be taken care in 100 before overwriting it with 330?(I have already exported the SAP_ALL of Dev 100 as a backup copy)

Please share your experience on this regard.

Hi,

As far as i know, While u import 330 to 100 DEV it will compare and overwrite those data in 100.U have exported the 330 client already so go ahead with merging without deleting.Yes, U shud do post import activites on new 100 client.Check and save those client dependant customisation before import
