Contract Release Value calculation also includes deleted PO items - is that standard SAP?

Hello Experts,

I am looking at a value contract type WK. This contract has a lot of purchase orders against it.

However, when I look at the "net value" in the header statistics of the contract, the net value is lover than the target value. When I try to create a new order for this contract, I get an error message saying that the target value of the contract is exceeded.

I have done some testing and found that PO items that are deleted are also included in the amount that is compared to the target value. Is that SAP standard?

When I check table EKAB, the deleted items have net value = 0, but they still included in the calculation of used amount

    Found the answer:

If you are in change mode of a PO with deleted items, the net value of the deleted items in the PO is included in the calculation of the spent amount.

If there are other purchases orders related to this contract with deleted items, they are not included in the amount
