Error during 2LIS_03_BX InfoPackage loading using ODP Source System

Hi Experts,

While performing Inventory loading activity in BW, we are getting an error when running infopacakge for 2LIS_03_BX datasource on ODP source system. The error message says "Source 2LIS_03_BX does not support deltas".

Note that setup table for 2LIS_03_BX filled successfully without any issues and data is populating in RSA3

The landscape is as below:

BW 7.5 on HANA SP SAPK-75006INSAPBW

ECC on HANA SP SAPK-75006INSAPBASIS

Those are the old Datasources (BX, UM, BF) suggested for SAP BW Releases non Hana or before 7.40 SP09. Nowadays HANA other objects are recommended in latest versions of reference note 586163 - Composite SAP Note for SAP ERP Inventory Management in SAP BW.

As note 586163 clarifies, the 2LIS_03_BF, BX and UM are still used beyond BW 740 SP09. What changes are the InfoProviders on the BW side, not the Data Sources on the ECC side.

Regarding the OPs question, in the process of setting-up Inventory extraction in BW you may use the BX extractor once to transfer historical stock values, avoiding the transfer of all material documents vía the BF extractor. As the BX extractor is used only for the transfer of the opening stock balance, it only supports full update mode as it is intended to be used only once (hence no delta is supported). Delta is only required and supported for BF and UM extractors which wil provide material documents and revaluations.

(Init 2LIS_03_BX via InfoPackage and ODP Source) Error RODPS_REPL_500 appears.

Use

This structure is used to extract the stock data from MM Inventory Management for initialization to a BW system.

Delta Update

The DataSource only supports the update modes Full Upload and Creation of Non-Cumulatives .

As far as I remeber the BX Datasource is only used once for init in full
