Daily Rate Wage Type on IT0008

Hi everyone - My company has several workers who are paid a daily rate as opposed to an hourly rate (so they get $75 a day no matter how many hours they work). I have set up the new wage type and have set up a separate Employee Subgroup that is assigned to the ESG for PCR 8 which is for daily but cannot get ANSAL on IT0008 to reflect the proper annual salary. Currently, ANSAL is calculating at $3,900 which is $75 x 52 but this is incorrect. The correct ANSAL should be the daily rate multiplied by 260 (52*5) which is $19,500 in this case.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are on ECC 6.0. And please note that we will not have any Time Eval/Mgmt in SAP and will be running payroll in ADP.

Many thanks,

Christy

    Hi Christy,

did you look at Implementation Guide (IMG) for Personnel Administration, process step Define Annual Salary.

There you can set up wage type and payment frequency for annual salary.

    regards

      Oh,

I didn't read your request with enough care. Daily is in fact not designed in this scenario.

And unfortunately you can't add a daily-entry in PFREQ.

But there is sapnote 330864. It describes SAP-enhancement PARA0001 with userexit EXIT_SAPLPARA_001 which gives you the opportunity to override PFREQ. I think this will help you. You will find sample-coding and descriptions there.

      regards

      Herbert

      EDIT:

sorry, this exit does have the same periods that PFREQ has. So it will not help you.

I give up, maybe another forum-user has an idea?

I did replicate your scenario, and I realize that if you change in the Feature PFREQ, the Line 1 - weekly from 52 to 260, It does calculate 19500 as you are expecting, however I am not sure yet of any repercussion of this approcah.

Since we were not able to just change Line 1 of the output for Feture PFREQ, we simply created a new decision point for the Employee Subgroup for Daily employees and had the output set to 260 for all eight lines.

      Thanks everyone for your input!
