I am facing Login Errors for MMC

Former Member
0 Kudos

I was trying to start the console and I am getting the following errors;

1). At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Use Event Viewer to examine the event log for details.

- Int he Event Viewer, this is what I found out -> The ORacleOraHome81Agent service terminated with the following error: %3221356569

2). Error No. 0xc0000096

How can I rectify these problems and start to work again ?

Thanks,

Ram.

ignore it. this SERVICE is not needed in a SAP system, change the startup to DISABLED and forget it forever.

problem fixed.

The Process List in MMC is as follows;

msg_server.exe is Running

disp+work.exe is stopped.

And then I get this windows error;

MMC.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x10006669" referenced memory at "0x00740066". The memory could not be 'read'.

Click OK to terminate the program.

What do I do now ?

there is no relation between SAPMMC and the ORacleOraHome81Agent service. so, your problem is unrelated.

check file dev_w0 to find out why disp+work stopped

check your memory for corruption.

I donno how to troubleshoot. Would it be possible for you check my PC using remote login like "LogmeIn" if that isn't a problem for you ?

Thanks.

this is a support site, not a free technical support service!

find file dev_w0 and post it here. I'll do my best but will not do the work for you by using a remote control program.

ORA-12535: TNS:operation timed out

0xc0000096 unknown software exception

looks like your listener(or DB) is not working properly, that is why the WP is not able to connect.

is your DB up and running?

what is written to DB logs? listener logs?

No, DB is not UP.

I am getting too many strange errors.

OracleAgent is not starting.

It worked fine till last night. I have no clue what happened

stop talking about OracleAgent! Plllllllease!

start oracleservice[SID]

then, start DB:

sqlplus "/ as sysdba"

startup

do you get any error messages?
