E-Mail Address Missing for Business Partner

Hello All,

When I execute transaction BBP_BP_OM_INTERGATE for a particular Business Partner (Employee Role), it says that the e-mail address is missing. Whe I use SIUM for the User Id, it has been maintained. When I use transaction BP, there is not e-mail address so I entered it. However, BBP_BP_OM_INTERGRATE still says e-mail address is missing.

I looked at the BUT000 table and found an address number. But in BUT020, I found a different address number. The one found in BUT000 has an e-mail address maintained but the one found in BUT020 does not. What gives?

Points will be awarded accordingly.

Hi,

We had a similar issue. Try applying note 1041836.

To resolve all issues with the sync report there were loads of notes to apply (see list on note 934372).

Seems like they have had to fix many issues around this area.

Cheers

Thanks for the OSS Notes. However, we are not synchronzing to HR. We are maintaining the organization structure by hand. I will implement a few of the notes that seem to be related to the problem and I'll get back to you on the results.

Hi Dean,

Please maintain the email address in the SU01 for the user. Once you do this, try reintegrating the User ID. If this is not in a production environment, the above suggestion is applicable.

Please let me know which environment. If it is not production and the istory of the s/c is not important, you can go ahead and do the above suggested.

Please make sure you delete the Old BP via BUPA_DEL Trx and delete the position etc from PPOMA_BBP. The reason why you have this issue is, because when you integrated the user, the user profile did not have an email address on their SU01 Profile and was added at a later point. However, when the BP was created as a result of the integration did not find it and there is your issue.

Pls assign points, if answer is usefull !

Sundeep,

Using your method will probably fix the problem but shouldn't BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE fix those types of issues. We have a lot of user ids that where created without maintaining the e-mail address first and the proposed method can a tedious process.

Am I wrong? I mean I thought that is what BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE was all about.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Regards, Dean.

Hi

Have you maintained the email address in BBPMAININT (Manage Business Partners) Web transaction ?

Atul,

I have a Business Partner/Employee that is missing an e-mail address. Using BBPMAININT, I cannot bring the record up through the seach helps or by typing in the BP number. I can maintain the e-mail address through BP, but that does seem to fix the error in BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE.

Why can you maintain it thought BP but not bring it up in BBPMAININT? Also, why is the error in BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE still showing?

Thank for your continuing support in this matter.

Dean.
