Dear All,

We are going to upgrade from PI 7.11 to 7.31. In our landscape, we are using custom adapter module in QueueConnectionFactory Java class in connection parameter in JMS channel.

Could you please let me know what things/adjustments have to be taken care while upgrading to PI 7.3? What are the steps involved and how can we make sure the custom modules are deployed successfully in PI 7.3?

Thanks,

Amita

The custom module that was developed was for SSL handshake as standard JMS adapter does not support it. Please let me know what things/adjustments have to be taken care while upgrading to PI 7.3? What are the steps involved and how can we make sure the custom modules are deployed successfully in PI 7.3?

Amita,

You may need to Compile the EJB classes with JDK 1.6(supported by 7.3) however AFAIK this is not mandatory the old EJB classes should also work. As this is upgrade the location of Module remains same so nothing to do much go ahead and if u face any issues re-compile the EJB with JDK 1.6
