Configuring Toolbar on an OWL

Dear team,

On a custom solution, we've created a logic to change status thus need to hide the "change status" button from the toolbar on an xbo.

Can the toolbar be edited on CAS? or what would be the best way to disable that button?

Kind regards,
Matt

    Hi,

    yes it can be done and 2 approaches are there.as follow:
    Approach 1-->Dynamic Button Enable or Disable
    1. Define a INDICATOR type field in your XBO file.
    2. Whenever/wherever you are changing the status mark the field as "false".
    3. Open the XBO enhanced screen where button has to be disabled. And now go to "Extensibility Explorer".
    4. Choose the anchor/node corresponding to the ToolBar button. and CHoose "Adjust Properties" and Choose BOUND option from drop down under "Visble" column and bind it with the field declared in step 1.
    5. Save and Activate your change.
    Approach 2-->Always Disable the field.
    1. Go to XBO Enhanced screen.
    2. Choose the anchor/node corresponding to the ToolBar button. and Choose "Adjust Properties" and Choose "FALSE" option from drop down under "Visble" column.
    3. Save and Activate your change.

    Thanks
    Saurabh
