Ranking in Graph

Hello all,

Please advice on resolving issues with the following requirement. Note that I do not have the ability to make any changes to the Universe at this time, so the solution has to be on WebI.

Query output (filtered for last 3 years)-

Incident_ID, Description, Location, Year, Month

Measure - Incident Count = Count (Distinct Incident ID)

Report has Line graph for Monthly Incident Count for each year. Category Axis = Month, Measure = Incident Count, Region Color = Year.

The requirement here is to include data from only top 5 locations in the graph. I get the ranks using RANK function for location. However it does not work when applied to the graph as Location dimension is not included in the graph data set. Is there a way to overcome this issue? I tried adding ForEach context to the measure, but maybe I am not doing it right.

Thank you.

Hello Amit,

I tried that but it returns multiple x-axis instances for each month. There are 5 distinct locations in the data set which return 5 ticks for Jan, 5 for Feb and so on.
