A new Plant code (B) is created.

Plant code (A) and (B) both warehouse managed with same warehouse number (X).

STO done from Plant A to B using MB1B, Mvt. Typ 301. However, later noticed that Plant - Storage Location - Warehouse Assignment is not maintained for new plant B.

Hence, stock not reflecting in warehouse after 301.

Later the missing assignment is maintained, but existing stock still not reflecting (working fine for new movements). Kindly guide so that already transferred stock reflects in warehouse X under plant B.

Thanks !

In general any movement on a IM storage location that is warehouse managed will result in a task to be done in WM, which means the activities are synchronized once the customizing for the warehouse assignment has been done.

As you did this assignment after the fact you actually created an inconsistency and inconsistencies can't usually be solved just by another movement.

You have to wait for a time spot where nobody posts movements or creates deliveries, then you need to disable the assignment, cancel your IM movement, then reestablish the assignment and redo the movement.

Hello Juergen,

Correct me if I am wrong. Since Plant A and its sloc is WM managed, however, they missed out to assign Plant B, its storage location to warehouse. But, now the stock is moved to Plant B whose storage location is non WM managed.

Before they assign the storage location to warehouse, they should move out the stock from storage location which is going to be WM managed? Ideally they should move the stock to Non-WM managed location. After that they can do the configuration.

Best regards

he said "Later the missing assignment is maintained.."

So plant B is WM now and inconsistent.
