GR date check/Block

<b>Dear Friends

Our client wants to stick on the GR Date mentioned while creating PO and if the vendor is sending the material after that date system should not allow for GR until and unless the PO is not edited to that date. So, friend I need your help on it, how we can do this?</b>

Hi Aftab

To achieve your goal,configure the "Latest GR date" in the delivery tab of item detail to give you the error message if the gr is done after this date.

I have already tried this and the result is its just a warning message during GR. I was even searching for System Message to change the status from Warning to Error but I could not get.

Hi,

The latest GR date in the Delivery Tab of the Item details in the PO can be used for the required purpose.By this it will restrict doing GR prior to this date.
