I have a bar chart that reports school mean scores for 3 specific subjects for 4 student types per subject. There is one chart for each school. The visual image is a bar chart with 3 groups of bars, each group having 4 bars representing a mean score, one chart per school. Works fine. This year, though, the customer wants to add a bar representing the mean of all schools next to the school's mean. The visual image for this new chart is a bar chart with 3 groups of bars, each group having 8 bars, two bars for each subject where the first bar of each subject is the school mean and the second bar is the mean of all schools. I cannot figure out how to do this. Note that I can pre-process the data into a temporary table if that makes things easier. I asked this same question a year ago but there was no response, so I told the client there was no solution. This year they are insistent.
Hi Stanley,
Could you please attach a screenshot of the Bar Chart?
