regarding STO

Hello all,

I am trying to create a STO between two plants under the same company code, and here are the things I have customized before doing STO.

1) checked whether both the plants are assigned to company code

2) checked whether Sales org is assigned to Company code

3) checked whether Distribution channel is assigned to Sales org

4) checked whether Division is assigned to Sales org

5) checked whether Sales org and Dist channel is assigned to Plant

6) checked whether Purchase org is assigned to Company code

7) checked whether Purchase org is assigned to plant

8) checked whether Shipping point is assigned to Plant.

And my plants are 1000 (supplying) and 1100 (Receiving)

1) In SPRO- LE – Shipping – Basic shipping functions – Shipping pt and receiving pt determination - Assign Shipping point.

Given SC , loading grp, plant (both of them) and assigned shipping points “ shipping pts are also assigned in enterprise structure”

2) in SPRO – LE – MM – purchasing – PO – Set up STO – Define shipping data for plant

In receiving plant customer number with sales area is assigned

In supplying plant entered just the sales area.

3) in SPRO – LE – MM – purchasing – PO – Set up STO –Assign Del type and checking rule to supplying plant Doc type UB, Delivery type NL, Checking rule B for sales order………… SAVE

4) in SPRO – LE – MM – purchasing – PO – Set up STO – assigned doc type for STO Assigned ship pt and plant to the doc type (for receiving Plant)

while creating the vendor for receiving plant by giving the account grp as KRED and in the purchasing data tab goto Extras and in additional pur data entered the supplying plant

After doing all the configuration IN the Tcode ME21n I couldn’t get the Shipping tab after I enter the details.

The Warning message its showing is Material is “ Not possible to determine shipping point for item 0010” and “Not possible to determine shipping data for material XXX”

Please help me out of this

Hi,

As per ur problem,

1)Not possible to determine shipping point for item 0010” -So pls follow the following step.Define Shipping pointSpro-Ent. StrucDefinationLog Exec-Define shipping point,

Then asiign it.

Spro---Ent. StrucAssignmentLog Exec-Assign shipping point

2)“Not possible to determine shipping data for material XXX”----

In Material master in Sales:General/plant data you have to maintain all the Shipping Data(times in days).

I hope this will solve ur problem.

hi Shane,

you have to maintain the material master Sales views for the internal transfer. only after that you can crete the STO. you have to maintain the item catergory and general item category for the material in material master.

you have to customize the sales data:

Sale organization for internal transfer and distribution channel for internal transfer.

only after that you can create the STPO.

hai all

we need to maintain the issuing storage location at the extreme right side for the item line and you can create the STO for that material.

Hi,

Do want delivery through sales, as both the plants belong to the same company code? You can deliver (NL-delivery without billing) through sales if your plants are located far off and you need material to be packed, labeled etc otherwise for stock transfer between two plants within the company, simply follow one step or two step process. I just wanted to understand your business scenario for stock transport.
