KMAT MATERIAL BOM NOT EXPLODE IN MRP IN S4 HANA

Dear Sir,

I have below structure for Variant-

Level 1-KMAT

Level 2-KMAT

Level 3-KMAT

Level 4-KMAT

Level 4-ROH and HALB

All variant are configured and select in sales order properly.

at time of MRP run only level 1 material are exploded, system not go up to level 4.

We have maintain the strategy 25 in MRP view for all KMAT level.

Please help to sort out this issue.

Thanks for looking in to this, but am trying your solution , Low level code is OK in MARA as well as DBVM table.

Still MRP is not consider multilevel BOM, It consider only first level. Issue is not yet resolved

Currently only single-level BOM explosion is supported on S/4 HANA Systems.

Thanks for looking in to this, But If S4 HANA not supported then how SAP planning get happened in Variant Configuration.

Issue not yet resolved, Please someone expert provide the solution or any clue , so we can solve this issue

Hi Sumit,
I have contacted the development team prior to my statement about the BOM explosion, but as mentioned previously, S/4 HANA only supports single-level BOM explosion at the moment. Future development plans also include multi-level BOM explosion. The official documentation will be available with release 1711 in november.

Thank you for your valuable information, As our implementation project is already in process. We are in second phase of Business blue print finalization , and we having 1610 S4 HANA, I will raise it to SAP regard Multi level planning.

But if you have any official document of SAP related to Multilevel explosion in Variant configuration S4 HANA, please share link or Please provide your E mail id.
