SAP S4 HANA connector not connecting.

Hi Gurus,

We are trying to configure SAP ESS/MSS for SAP EP 7.4 with SAP S4 HANA as the backend system.

Under System Admin-->System Landscape we are configuring the system connectors to connect to the backend S4 HANA system. The configuration is done, but the 'connection test' is failing with the following error.

No connection to system SAP S4 HANA QAS found No connection to system SAP S4 HANA QAS found:
com.sapportals.connector.connection.ConnectionFailedException: Connection Failed: A nested exception occurred. Could not initialize physical connection.
Connection Failed: A nested exception occurred. Could not initialize physical connection.
Connection Failed: A nested exception occurred. Could not create JCO connection.
Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)



This is the Quality system, the same type of connector is working in DEV system, we have compared all the properties in DEV and QA. The JCO connectors are also maintained, users are given all required permissions in Portal and Backend.
But still we are missing something which we are not able to identify.
If anybody has come across similar situation, please do share some information.
